Dr. Schrum was born and raised in Omaha, NE. She worked at Mapleview Animal Clinic and Candlewood Animal Hospital for over 7 years. Dr. Schrum owned a mobile practice and has done relief work for other veterinarians for over 20 years. Dr. Schrum purchased the clinic from Dr. Ken Holstein in January of 2015.
In her spare time, she enjoys working on her acreage and spending time with her Morgan Horse, Miniature Donkey, 3 Australian Cattle Dogs and 5 cats. She enjoys flower and vegetable gardening and crafting. She also enjoys spending time with family and catching her friends band playing especially at outdoor venues.

Dr. Holstein has always wanted to become a veterinarian. She spent her childhood following her father around at the clinic and going with him on large animal calls. After leaving KSTATE Dr. Holstein spent time in Western Nebraska before moving back to her home town of Blair, NE. She enjoys spending time outside working on livestock. In her spare time, she enjoys taking her Golden Retriever Finley on walks, Husker football, Craft Beer, and spending time with family and friends.

Denise resides in Blair with her husband and Papillion Allie. She has three kids and four grandchildren. She started working with Dr. Ken Holstein in 2000, helped transition to the new clinic in 2011 and through the purchase by Dr. Lisa Schrum. She was the office manager until 2017 when she passed the reins on to Sadie to allow more time to spend with her grandkids. She now works one busy day a week handling all of the finances.

Sadie was raised and resides in Blair with her son Perry. She has a blind Tri-Pawd Heeler mix who lost her back leg at 4 months when she was rescued and both eyes when she was 4 years old due to Glaucoma. She also has a new Chihuahua pup named Howie. Her dog-niece Chai is part of this silly pack too. She loves all the dogs! She enjoys her morning coffee, spending time with family and friends, listening to music and just chilling out with her pooches.
She started working as a receptionist with Dr. Ken Holstein in 2009, helped transition to the new clinic in 2011 along with Denise and now works as the Office Manager. She loves working with both Doctors and crew along with helping all the clients and their pets.

Hannah graduated from Iowa Western Vet Tech Program in 2020. She resides in Blair along with her husband Tom and sons Tyson and Quill. She has a Dalmatian named Tucker and a Pittie Mix named Dezzi. She likes spending time with family and friends, boating, fishing, watching the NE Huskers and Denver Broncos. She loves scary movies and everything to do with Halloween. She is a big lover of Pitbull’s and an advocate for their breed.

Kelly grew up raising lots of kittens (barn cats) and always knew she wanted to work with animals. Becoming a LVT is her dream come true. Kelly resides in Blair with her boyfriend Josh, Paco her dog, Karen the Bearded Dragon and her new kitty Frank.
She really loves chickens and all other poultry and waterfowl. She would really like to have a farm someday. In her free time, she likes to shop and take naps.
